First Timers!
If this is your first time trying Aerial and first time to the Studio, start here!
For your first visit to Arcane, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to get yourself set up, and so we can answer any questions you might have.
Step One
Register for an account on Punchpass – this is our booking and payment platform. All our class schedules and passes are listed here.
Please make sure all your information is up to date and correct to avoid any complications! Most importantly, please be sure to review and sign our waiver.
Step Two
Purchase a pass on Punchpass. Our passes are listed in detail on Punchpass and on our Passes page. We have a variety of options to fit your needs – from Drop in to Memberships.
If it is your first time, we recommend starting with our specially priced “Starter Incantation 4-Class Pack.” This pass will get you into any intro or beginner classes.
If you are purchasing a membership, head over to our Pricing page to fill out a membership contract!
Step Three
Sign up for a class! Once you have your pass and have registered for an account on Punchpass, you are ready to get flying! Our schedule is listed below, and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about booking or registering for a class.
FAQs
What should I wear?
We recommend close-fitting clothing – Leggings and tank-tops or long sleeved shirts – to avoid getting tangled in the apparatuses. An extra shirt or sweater is always helpful to have on hand, the more layers the better!
Please DO NOT wear any clothing with zippers, as these can damage the fabrics and the hoop tape.
DO NOT wear jewellery. Metal hooks and clasps will get caught in our equipment and cause damage. Our equipment is very expensive to replace, please be respectful and remove all your jewellery before class starts.
Can I watch a class, and what can I expect from a class?
Unfortunately we cannot allow prospective students to come watch a class, as this has the potential to make our current students uncomfortable.
In a typical class, you can expect to have a thorough warm-up, some conditioning to get your muscles and body primed for whatever skills you will be learning that day, and then the class will proceed with your instructor guiding you through verbal or demonstrated instructions for the skill of the day. You can check out our class descriptions on Punchpass or on our Class descriptions page for more detailed info!
Do I need any previous experience?
People often think they need to get fit or go to the gym before they try an aerial class – totally not true! We welcome everyone of all fitness levels, shapes, sizes, and genders! We do not expect you to have any experience with aerial, acrobatics, or being upside down.
If you do happen to have experience, get in touch with us so we can help place you in the right level for you.
Can I cancel a class I booked into?
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy, which means if you need to cancel less than 24-hours before the class starts you will need to provide a valid reason, and contact us directly to cancel. Any cancellations before 24-hours will not be charged, and you will get that class back!
Can you extend my pass?
As a general rule, we will grant two extensions (2 weeks max each time) per student per calendar year, no questions asked. Beyond this, you will need to provide a valid reason or doctor’s note to extend your passes beyond their valid period.
Are pets allowed?
While we do have our studio mascots Neeko, Auri, and Milo, who will frequently be at the studio to welcome you, we ask that you contact us before bringing your own pet to the studio. Our mascots can sometimes have anxiety around new animals, so bringing your own furry friend will have to be determined on a case-by-case basis!
What is your refund policy?
Unfortunately, no refunds for missed or late-cancelled classes are given. We count on a minimum number of students to run a class, and if our instructors make an effort to be there on time, we expect the same courtesy from our students.
In the case of illness or emergency, we will do our best to transfer or add a class back to your pass, with a valid doctor’s note. Cancelled classes will be fully returned to your pass as an unused class.
